my big day is just around the corner
still a lot of things not done yet, now feeling a bit stress already :P

it's quite disappointing that quite a lot of my friends can't make it to attend to my wedding... it's festive season and some of them already have plan for other things... too bad

designed the eDM for my wedding invitation but seems like not everyone manage to view it, so just put it up here to share share...

i dun like free gift...

went shopping with stella just now, and we got a 2009 calendar and umbrella as free gift

when we were on the way back, I was just simply flipping the calendar and counting how many holiday we have for next year, and stella suddenly ask me to check out what day is 28 september

i can't remember any special day in september, so without thinking I asked her 'what's happening on that day...',

and the answer was 'that's our wedding day in korea...'

前几天看了篇新闻是说有位初院女生与同学庆祝生日时被恶整
后来看了相关的录影觉得还真是残忍甚至还有点变态

以前当然也有过年少轻狂的日子但也还没玩得那么过分过
现在的年轻人到底在想什么呀

上个星期回新山为朋友庆祝生日
一行九人中六位来自吉隆坡一位来自马六甲还有我跟stella从新加坡过去
象什么高峰会议酱我们千里迢迢跋山涉水只为了跟他庆祝生日比办大寿还隆重哈哈

事前他完全不知道我们有这样的安排所以这就是一个传说中所谓的惊喜派对
我们跟他的女友串通好把他带到一间他们常去的饭店
然后从后偷袭他把他感动得都快哭了

第二场去喝酒跳舞
好久没去迪斯科了刚进场觉得完全不搭因为里边都是小朋友看起来好多好像都还没断奶的样子
后来几杯黄汤下肚刚好音乐又跟我们很搭象当年我们泡夜店最凶的日子所以就跟着摇起来了呵呵
好久没玩了感觉很好不过被烟熏的眼睛很痛呼吸困难有点不舒服所以我也难得喝酒没抽烟
那晚很好玩然后有点怀念以前的日子

不好意思，各位久等了
最近很忙，到现在才有时间更新，呵呵

第二部分的婚礼通常只有家人和亲戚能出席

其他朋友如果有安排的话就会被带去吃饭，不然就会直接回家吃自己

这一部分韩语叫"pae bek"，中文是“幣帛”。。。

我也不知道是什麽意思，可能是要用钱买新娘吧，呵呵

ladies and gentlemen, here comes the part 2!!! he he...

sorry for being late, was very very bz lately

the second part of the wedding ceremony was held in a small hall
it's only for family and close relatives... other friends and colleagues normally will not be attending to this session

this session is called "pae bek" in korean, in chinese it's called "幣帛"

刚开始先正襟危坐拍拍照
first we sat at the front of the hall, simply just posing and take photos

类似华人婚礼，我们也要给父母敬酒（不是茶喔），当然也有拿红包啦，呵呵
similar to chinese tradition, we need to bow and serve wine (not tea!) to my parents, and they gave us ang pao in return.

敬酒过后我们俩就要从两边拉一块布来接我妈向我们抛来的栗子和红枣
栗子是儿子，红枣是女儿。我们接到了三颗栗子，表示我们将会有三个儿子 :P

接下来我们就向stella的父母、我的家人然后她的家人与亲戚敬礼和敬酒

then my mum were asked to throw some chestnuts(?) and red dates to us, and we were suppose to catch em with the cloth as seen in the photo. the number of chestnuts and red dates caught means the number of son/ daughter we'll have.

chestnuts means son, red dates means daughter
we got 3 chestnuts, which means we'll have 3 sons, ho ho...

then we bow and serve wine to my parents-in-law
and then followed by my family members and stella's family

接下来的仪式很有趣
stella咬着红枣的一端我咬着另一端，然后两边一起扯
咬到红枣核的就是有话事权’的人。。。我输了 orz。。。

after bow and serving wine to the people, it's our turn to drink!
and then, stella need to bite a red date, and i had to bite from the other end of it and pull
whoever got the seed will be the one in power... and stella got the seed...
see how happy she laugh, and bitter smile on my face... ha ha

权力大战后，接下来我就要背着新娘子绕场一周
整个仪式到此正式结束

和家人拍照后就换衣整装到附近的酒店吃安排好的自助餐
因为接下来要赶到机场去济州岛，所以我们俩只能囫囵吞枣胡乱吃点东西填填肚子
可是酱也给了我很好的借口不用跟她的韩国亲戚对酒，呵呵~

after the power struggle, I'll have to carry stella at the back and walk round the table
till then, the ceremony was considered completed.
we then went out from the hall and take photos with our families.

after changing, we went to a hotel nearby to have buffet dinner
we didn't really enjoy the great food because we needed to rush to airport to catch the flight to Jeju Island to start our honeymoon trip
but that gave me a good excuse not to drink with the korean family... that's really lucky, he he...

next... we off to Jeju Island for our honeymoon...

my korean wedding: part 1

ha ha, I know you guys have been waiting for this
this time I'll really try to update as soon as I can... try my best :P
and due to the popular demand, I'll try to write in both English and Chinese, he he...

剛從韓國行完婚禮回來，這就是我的韓國傳統婚禮的照片
我們行的是韓國傳統婚禮，現在來説就算是韓國人也很多都沒看過
然後我的家人也一起飛去韓國，所以這次婚禮對我們和親戚朋友來說都是很有意義的

ok, ladies and gentlemen, here are my korean wedding photos (part 1)... ta la

cover shot, this is taken before the ceremony started.
儀式開始前先擺擺款，是不是很象在拍戲。我覺得有點像好色的皇帝在調戲良家婦女的感覺，呵呵~

we walked to the stage one by one...
first i went up there to bow to my father-in-law, then followed by Stella
我們分別有兩個人陪著走上台， 後面還有人撐黃傘，象黃帝出遊醬
我先在臺上向岳父大人行大禮，然後Stella才到臺上來

after that we just follow instruction from the host to bow and make toasts to each other.
luckily the host can speak a little bit of English, plus the help from the guy kneeling next to me, I was still manage to follow the steps.
然後就是夫妻交拜，還有互相敬酒
敬酒時其實只需要意思意思沾沾唇就好，可是什麽都不知道的我卻一口干了
跪著要站起來時因爲衣服太長絆到了有點站不穩，搞得哄堂大笑

then we walked down from the stage, friends and relatives throw some rice on us
接下來我們從臺上走下，親友們就在兩旁把米往我們身上撒（應該是米吧？）


finally, we went back to the stage again together with our parents, bow and thank to those who attended the ceremony. then we were off to say bye to friends who were leaving, and took photos with people before the next phase of the ceremony starts
最後，我們跟父母回到臺上鞠躬謝禮，然後就個別跟要離開的朋友們拍照道別致意

till then it's the end of the first phase of the ceremony
friends were leaving or off to the dinner/ meal provided at another place, as the second part is only for family and close relatives, which I will cover in the next blog entry
第一的婚禮到此結束，通常朋友們到此就會離開或到安排好的地點去用餐
第二部分的婚禮是只有家人和近親才能出席的，下次再續。。。

my farewell

that was my last day of work before going for my 2 weeks holiday
I was busy rushing some work, wanted to finish them so that I could leave in peace
didn't know my colleagues were bz using my camera taking photos with greeting message for me, ha ha

I don't know what's gonna happen, guess I'll just follow instruction and do whatever i'm asked to

Pusan Film Festival

urgh~~~ just realised that Pusan Film Festival is just around the corner
if only I can delay my trip for a week, then I'll be able to enjoy all the movies!!!

saw quite a bit of interesting movies from the list
3 films from malaysia and singapore respectively

well... hope can come again next time...

记得小时候他就是我最喜欢的漫画
也从那时就开始有了看漫画及收集漫画的习惯

还有还有，那时有个邻居的朋友教我怎么画小叮当
从那时起我就喜欢胡乱涂鸦
现在从事设计也不无关系
后来那位朋友溺水淹死了
可是我到现在还是记得那天傍晚
我们在沙地上用小木条画了好多个大大的小叮当的情景

一直很喜欢小叮当
虽然他的正名是哆啦A夢
但在我的记忆里却还是永远的小叮当

上星期三早上郁闷非常，一大早就就被吵醒

话说有位小姐早上起来要开车去上班
走到她车位时发现车子被人挡着了出不去
可能要赶时间或经期不顺心情不好
这位小姐怒火中烧一发不可收拾
高分贝连续猛按车鸣

早上六点多小鸟还在刷牙尚未出门吃虫
整个邻里就被这位小姐亲切地唤醒了
热闹起来大家都对她问好
顺道也问候了她妈妈

其实满佩服她的勇气的
在整个邻里的围攻下
她还是横眉冷对千夫指地继续释出怒吼
时而还回骂几句

后来有位正义的大叔下楼干涉
就算换来的是大声吆喝大叔还是冷静的对她晓以大义
过了一会儿小姐可能被说动了或可能肚子饿了决定暂时休息一下
正当小姐刚要跨步离开时
一位站在一旁看了好一会的仁兄忽然一个箭步上了挡着那位小姐的车
小姐当然对着他破口大骂但这位仁兄只稍微敷衍就驱车离开了

被这么一搞我也睡不着了
就在床上翻来覆去滚直到我平时起床的时间
早上被吵起床真是好惨的呀~

懷念的Rojak

张南生先生（我们的Rojak Uncle)于七月三日凌晨逝世。

雖然沒能送南生uncle離開，我中學的記憶裏絕對會有他的身影

最近忙得天昏地暗，不见天日
好久没来更新，蜘蛛网结了好大一堆

昨晚加班加到凌晨四点多，就连上星期五我生日都加班到半夜
本来要跟Stella去吃饭的，也就酱泡汤了

多年以来长时间工作，坐姿又不正
现在老了就常感到腰酸背痛脖子僵硬导致四肢无力头痛懒惰
毛病一大堆

前阵子想要去练瑜伽因为听说会有帮助
可是阴差阳错还是没去成
后来看了中医，被施以推拿拔罐还有针灸
只是针灸还没什么，还要加以电极

yeah, I'm really kena shocked...

去了趟金马仑高原

跟劳动节没什么直接关系
就碰巧安排在同一个星期罢了

一起去的是以前念书时的同屋室友
认识到现在有＋年了吧
几乎每年我们都会安排到哪聚聚
单身去　带女友去　带妻儿去
我们都一起经历了各人不同的阶段

跟旧友相聚是舒服的
地点尚是其次
以前会谈人生谈理想谈感情
现在长大了都不怎么说出口
只在饱食酒酣时感受彼此的关怀

困在下午两点半的车龙里
挤身在混浊喧哗的浑沌时
才惊觉回到了熟悉的吉隆坡

久违了
也期待下次的相聚
