what an exciting weekend i had... i've got into a car accident!
on saturday night, i went to attend a friend's wedding. got to meet a lot of old friends there, and of course we drank quite a bit.
on the way back, my friend was a bit drunk so i took his car and drive him and his girlfriend back. while we were waiting at the traffic light near my place to turn to green, we heard noise of car emergency brake from the back. when we turn back, we saw a van behind us, and its' rare is facing us! the van drifted like those scenes we sees in movies when he's trying to brake. it's lucky that he managed to stop the car before banging us!
that guy turned his car around and go to the other lane. he waved and greet to us. and i greet him back nicely by showing my middle finger.
just when we were scolding that careless driver and counting ourselves lucky, a great impact came from the back. our car were banged by another car!
my friend's car was damaged quite badly... and half of his girlfriend's body was thrown to the front seat, luckily not out of the car.
we went down and talk to that fella, and he looked pretty scared. yea, i was very fierce then... and can't help to keep swearing to him. he gave us all his info and contact and agreed to make police report the next day, so we let him leave.
after sending my friend's gf to hospital for a brief checkup, the next morning we went police station to make the report. the last time i went police station to make report was during college time, when my classmate's house got break in and i helped to catch the theft. after so many years, at least i saw some improvement... we typed the report on computer instead of writing on paper, then re-type by officer in charge as i experienced previously.
everything went fine until i talked to the sergeant...
at first he asked me a few questions, and then started to keep asking me if i need help from his friend. this friend of him can tow the car and send to the workshop and repair, and he'll do all the documentation for claiming the insurance company without us paying a single cent. and what a coincident, his friend is right there in the police station!
he's being so helpful and keep stressing that with his friend's help we can settle everything in much easier way...
i look at the "anti-rasuah" badge on his chest, and then look at his big belly... i'm speechless...
